A visit to
the university city of Oxford - including a city discovery trail and the
Museum of Oxford. A trip to the cinema in the evening. |
| Wednesday |
Bodicote
circular walk - a guide-writing exercise while enjoying a walk through
the wonderful
Oxfordshire countryside. |
| Thursday |
A visit to
historic Broughton Castle. A visit to Fast Eddies in the evening for a
games evening. |
| Friday |
A treasure
hunt tour of Banbury Museum, followed by an afternoon of sports and games
in Spiceball Park. Woodgreen Leisure Centre in the evening for a traditional
game of bowls. |
| Saturday |
A guided
visit to London, including a chance to see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament,
Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Trafalger Square. |
| Sunday |
Free
day. |
| Monday |
A day in
Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of William Shakespear, with the opportunity
to discover more about his life and times. Back to Banbury for bowling
in the evening. |
| Tuesday |
A day in
Chipping Norton, including a walk in the Cotswolds and a trip to Chipping
Norton museum. A visit to the cinema in the evening. |
| Wednesday |
Spiceball
Park walk in the morning, followed by return visit to Oxford in the afternoon
for a chance to see Oxford Castle and enjoy a ghost tour. |
| Thursday |
A visit to
Wellesbourne Watermill including guided tour as well as it's wildlife park,
with some free time in Lemington Spa if time permits. |
| Friday |
Final day
- group presentations of Banbury and it's local area. |
| Saturday |
Departure
from Banbury. |
