and welcome to Discover and Learn, the summer English language course in the heart of England for young people between the ages of 15 and 17 who do not wish to spend their time sitting in a classroom, but would prefer to discover England while practising their English. What is Discover and Learn? Young learners of English often say that classroom-based language courses are too much like school. Our Discover and Learn programme is aimed at allowing students to develop their language in authentic situations. Students spend their days in small international groups using specially-designed worksheets to ask questions and find out more about the wide variety of places they visit. Participants are given the opportunity to speak English all day, even during lunch. Who is Discover and Learn for? Discover and Learn is for young people aged 15 to 17 who: • are not beginners at English • want an active course • want to practise the language they have already learnt • want lots of opportunity to speak with native speakers in authentic situations • do not want to come to England to sit in a classroom • do not want to be on a programme with children much younger than themselves	click here for information about Discover and Learn for groups outside the summer
